Welcome Back Fellow Federal Employees:
The last seventeen (17) days have been very challenging for federal employees. The partial government shutdown added a level of doubt, frustration, and overwhelming emotions to most of our lives. We acknowledge and empathize with everyone and understand the additional burdens that this may have added to your life. We also acknowledge that some of us may now find ourselves in the situation to ask for assistance from the very charitable organizations that we have supported.
In tough times, the work of the charitable organizations that are in the Combined Federal Campaign is more critical than ever.
October 1 Ė 17 was unprecedented and unexpected; however letís keep the giving spirit of the federal employees going! We can still work to restore the lives of victims from natural disasters, cure diseases, shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, rescue animals, protect the environment and support our military personnel.
The CFC leadership team is still committed to this yearís campaign and aim to raise as much money for the community as possible. We are appealing to each of you to do the same. Please find it in your heart to donate any amount of money that you are able (and willing) to give.
We all still have One Reason to GiveÖ we are asking for you to think about yours as you make your decision to support the campaign.
We are working to re-energize the campaign and continue our work of supporting the community through the Combined Federal Campaign and we invite you to join us.
Please take a moment to browse the CFC contributorís guide and find a charity that is near and dear to your heart.
